Gather Grow Graze
Gather, Grow, Graze Community Garden located at eastland on Warrandyte Road next to Entry 8 is dedicated to building a cohesive, collaborative community through coordinated events and activities that meet the needs of the community.
The project focuses on encouraging learners to be actively involved in the wholistic approach to food through nurturing and maintaining garden plots, understanding plant care requirements, harvesting and preparing healthy meals, educational activities and opportunities, as well as social inclusion events.
All members will contribute relevant knowledge, experience, and ideas on establishing the community garden. Members will:
- Develop partnerships and activations to meet the needs of community
- Develop opportunities for learners training and/or employment
- Plan for whole of site pop-up events for special events
- Plan, coordinate, host a minimum of one open to all members event, or ticketed event only.
Ensure that stakeholder and community diverse views and aspirations are reflected in activations.
